the one hand, catapults you back to the <strong>Soviet Union<\/strong> and on the other hand will surprise with <strong>phenomenal snow<\/strong> and <strong>landscapes<\/strong>. Desolate, dilapidated and pristine, but oh so charming, welcoming and beautiful! This tour ski and splitboard trip takes you to the <strong>Kyrgyz snow paradise<\/strong>: <strong>Jyrgalan<\/strong>. An old mining village located on <strong>2300m altitude<\/strong> in the eastern part of the country. In the Jyrgalan valley, a <strong>abnormal amount of dry Central Asian snow<\/strong>. Indeed, the giant Issyk Kul lake provides a <strong>microclimate<\/strong> with considerably more <strong>snowfall<\/strong> than elsewhere in Central Asia.<\/p><p>On this trip you will <strong>4 days of tour skiing\/split boarding<\/strong> at <strong>Jyrgalan<\/strong> and <strong>2 days<\/strong> at <strong>Ak Suu<\/strong>. We sleep in <strong>each area 1 night<\/strong> in a <strong>yurt camp<\/strong>.  In addition, we will also sample a half-day \"<strong>horse-ski<\/strong>\". We go up the mountain on horseback with our ski and snowboard gear on our backs, then at the top of the mountain we put on our gear and snow down the mountain! Once there, we are met by the driver who will give us <strong>then to Jyrgalan<\/strong> brings. We will stop for lunch along the way and take a few short breaks during this long <strong>ride of about 8h.<\/strong> So we will not arrive in Jyrgalan until late at night. Once we arrive, everyone will be given time to get <strong>install<\/strong> after which a full <strong>safety briefing<\/strong> follows and we get a clear view of the rest of the week.<\/p><h4>Day 3, 4, &amp; 5: Tourski &amp; Splitboard Jyrgalan<\/h4><p>For the next 3 days we fully enjoy a <strong>well-stocked touring ski and splitboard program<\/strong> in the beautiful <strong>Tian Shan <\/strong>mountains. Retrieved from <strong>day 4<\/strong> we tour to, and sleep in, a <strong>yurt camp high in the mountains<\/strong> for an ultimate<strong> off grid<\/strong> experience!<\/p><h4>Day 6 &amp; 7: Tourski &amp; Splitboard Ak Suu + Hot Springs<\/h4><p>Retrieved from <strong>day 6<\/strong>\u00a0we leave <strong>after breakfast<\/strong> Our home base of Jyrgalan and we drive <strong>through to Ak Suu<\/strong>. We install ourselves in the <strong>yurt camp<\/strong> and then go <strong>touring the area<\/strong>.  We spend the night in a <strong>yurt<\/strong>. The next morning we will start touring again from our yurts and after touring we will \"freshen up\" in the <strong>hot springs.<\/strong> We then drive on to <strong>Karakol<\/strong> To explore our next piece of freeride paradise.<\/p><h4>Day 8: Horse-skiing<\/h4><p>Today we will <strong>on horseback into the mountains<\/strong>. On a 2 to 3h trip, on horseback with our equipment on the back, we head for the mountain top. Once we arrive at the top of the mountain, we put on our ski equipment and <strong>snowen<\/strong> we go down. Then we go <strong>lunch<\/strong> and after lunch there will be time to <strong>elevator accessed<\/strong> to go <strong>tour skiing or split boarding<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p><p>Those who are not up for horse-skiing can tour from as early as morning elevator accessed or a morning rest.<\/p><h4>Day 9: Fairytale Canyon &amp; Eagle Hunters<\/h4><p>Today we are driving <strong>back to Bishkek<\/strong>, but with some nice stops along the way. We will make a stop at <strong>Fairytale Canyon.<\/strong> A beautiful fairytale landscape where you will have time to walk around for a while. Then we drive on to the <strong>Eagle Hunters<\/strong> where we will have lunch and be immersed in centuries-old traditions and customs. A <strong>special meeting<\/strong> which will stay with you for a long time! An airbag is not mandatory, but is strongly recommended.
