Brazil is a surfing paradise for both novice and experienced surfers. Brazil has a coastline of 7491 km where you can see the whole year by can surf, has a tropical climate which also makes the water nice and warm (so ditch that wetsuit!) and is also wonderfully beautiful!

Our surf trip focuses on the Northeast of Brazil namely the province of Bahia. Bahia is known for its Afro-Brazilian mix from cultures, music, food, colonial settlements and lush landscapes. On this journey you will surfing among the sea turtles at Praia Do Forte, we move to the mangroves at Morro de Sao Paulo and conclude with jungle surfing at Itacaré. In other words, you discover 3 totally different areas on a journey where surf and experience centraal stand.

The locals with which we collaborate range from the local pastor and surf coach to Brazilian competition surfers. They will give you a taste of paradisiacal Brazil, coaching in the water And ensure that you will never forget this journey. Surfing Tour Brazil

Day 1: Flying to Salvador

On Monday you fly to Salvador Where you will arrive in the evening. Here you will be picked up by the local organization that will take you to our surfhouse in Praia Do Forte will bring, where the journey can then begin!

Day 2, 3, 4 & 5: Surf Praia Do Forte

While surfing, you will explore Praia Do Forte. Praia Do Forte consists of a long sandy beach with a small tourist village, located 80km from Salvador. The surf consists here of both reef and beach breaks. Praia Do Forte is known for its clear blue water, the natural pools, and the nonprofit organization TAMAR who is committed to the protection of sea turtles in Brazil. Our surfhouse is located outside the tourist village Of Praia Do Forte, on the edge of the jungle. In addition, this surfhouse features a skatebowl, pool and campfire zone. So anyone who wants to can feel free to bring their skateboard! The house also provides some for those who want to try them out.

Day 6: travel to Morro De Sao Paulo

Today you will be dropped off at the port where you get the Catamaran ferry will take to Morro De Sao Paulo. Morro is a charming small car-free village in the northeast corner of the island Tinharé. With only one way and a handful of beaches it is the ideal place to take a moment to rest to come! We are staying here in a cozy pousada on the edge of the village, close to several beaches and overlooking the jungle. The surf here is not as consistent as in Praia Do Forte and Itacaré. But when the swell comes in, it's thick there.

Day 7: Mangroves

In addition to the cozy village and its mix of tourist hotels and bars with hidden nooks and picturesque poussadas, the island is largely made up of mangrove forest. Today you dive into this mangrove along with a local fisherman. You will work together crabs, fish, mud mussels ... catch To then also include everything to eat. A unique experience and authentic activity which will give you a totally different view of the life in Brazil.

Day 8: Just chill

Today you are free To do as you please. Nice lazing on the beach, swimming, beachgames, a activity or outing books, a beautiful beach walk make, rent a surfboard on site and surf... anything goes! In other words, you are enjoying the last day on this beautiful island.

Day 9: travel to Itacaré

You take a boat to Valencé where a bus will be waiting for you to then to Itacaré drive. The surfing hotspot of Bahia!

Day 10, 11, 12, 13 & 14: Surf Itacaré

While surfing, you will explore Itacaré. A magical place with funky surf vibes, the most idyllic beaches, tropical rainforest, nice waterfalls, the most romantic sunsets, hip restaurants and bars and waves for every level. If there is a place where year-round there is always somewhere surf can be found for beginners, intermediates and experts alike, then it is Itacaré! This former fishing village is located along the so-called cocoa coast and is the most consistent surf spot in northeastern Brazil with a large variety of quality waves.

As icing on the cake, we are staying at the surfhouse of a local surf legend and competition surfer with view of the beach and ocean! Day 15 & 16: travel to Belgium

you guys take the bus to Ilheus whence you have a domestic flight take to Salvador. Here you then take your international flight back to Belgium, where you will arrive the next day, day 16.

Surfing Tour Brazil

During this trip, you will trek around and stay at 3 different places in the province Bahia in the Northeastern Brazil. The rooms are neat and clean with basic comforts.

Praia Do Forte

Here you will stay in the surfhouse of our local surf guides located outside the tourist center. You will stay in double or triple rooms. Furthermore, the house is equipped with a skatebowl, pool and campfire circle.

Morro De Sao Paulo

Here you will stay in a cozy pousada on the edge of village. The perfect base to explore Morro De Sao Paulo. Also here you stay on the basis of double or triple rooms. Furthermore, this pousada features a nice bar and small restaurant.

Itacaré

Here you will stay in the surfhouse of our local surf instructor, with views of the beach and ocean! Again, you will stay on the basis of double or triple rooms. The house is equipped with a terrace overlooking the sea. Nearby are a skatebowl and perfect waves! The vibrant center lies on 15-minute walk.

Surflevel

Beginners

This trip is ideal for both surfers who have never been on a shelf, as surfers with some experience already. Also novice greenwave surfers can fit perfectly into this trip. Still learning to stand upright on waves that have not yet been broken, can you already stand up on a wave that is not yet broken but do you still struggle with timing or turning in, for example, then also this trip perfect for you.
