Watch the informative video regarding safety requirements here: Episode 5: Safety
Guides
Safety is our number one priority. The guides we work with are therefore highly professional and have the necessary local and international certifications, participate on a regular basis in safety courses and its seasoned freeriders. Each heliski group will consist of 4 skiers/snowboarders and 1 guide. So the groups are small and this way we maintain an overview of the entire group.
Safety Equipment
In addition, we also provide each participant with the necessary safety equipment such as a ABS backpack with float system, avalanche pager, shovel and probe and there is contact between guides and helicopters and have a good range that allows immediate assistance to be requested in the event of any accident.
Insurance
Finally, we require each participant to provide a Proof of purchase of travel insurance specifically for off-piste skiing and snowboarding in Canada for the entire period of the trip. Call and email your insurer in advance, explain what you will be doing and make sure you have a good understanding of what all is covered and what the exceptions are! If desired, we will help you find the correct insurance.

Alles top geregeld. Wauw wauw wauw! We hebben een heerlijke ontspannen reis gehad. Alles was goed geregeld. We had a great time with the wildLinger in Karakorum Pakistan in summer 2025. The overall preparation and fitness of every participant was outclass. Vorige week Heli-ski trip gedaan in Canada via The Wildlinger & Last Frontier. We'll be back! Amazing trip with awesome tourguides and great local food!
