Who we are.
The Wildlinger is a young and adventurous travel agency founded in late 2019 out of a passion for adventure travel. With The Wildlinger, we want to go the extra mile, push boundaries, and make sure you can live your wildest dreams.
We get away from the well-trodden paths, overcrowded line-ups and packed slopes and look for that extra "wow" factor. Our trips are always active, challenging and outdoorsy. We therefore work with the best local guides, like to keep it small-scale and personal, integrate preparation programs into our travel packages, and surround ourselves with experts. As a result, The Wildlinger is more than a travel agency, it's a family with a wild heart, spread across the globe, that you may soon be a part of.
Preparation is Key
"If you fail to prepare you are preparing to fail." This phrase really says it all. Just because we go that extra mile and dare to push boundaries, we also want to make sure you are ready to do so. As the only travel agency in the BeNeLux, we choose to go that extra mile for our travelers, and integrate targeted preparation programs into our travel packages. This way you can start your trip fully prepared, you can participate in a trekking or climbing that you otherwise would never have dared to undertake, and above all you can enjoy an unforgettable journey because you are well prepared. As icing on the cake, your trip also begins from the moment of registration, instead of at the airport. This way you don't travel with strangers, but with friends.
What's in a name?
We often get the question, "What is that anyway, Wildlinger?" or "Why that name?". Well, simple: "The Wildlinger" covers and encompasses everything we stand for. We'll give you a taste of "Wild" in all its meanings. The wilderness, the action, unleashing yourself, becoming one with nature, pursuing your wildest dreams, going deep. Hence the slogan "Let's get wild!". Linger literally means "to abide." Linger in the wilderness, in good company, in your happy place. Being somewhere where you are happy. In turn, a wildling is one who is comfortable in the wilderness. One who feels a connection with nature. One who wants to explore the world.
